Monthly Prayer Group – All Are Welcome
Join us on the second Wednesday of each month at 6:30 PM in the Peace Room for a time of shared reflection and spiritual practice. At IUCC, we believe in the power of prayer—and we recognize that it looks different for everyone. This group is open to all and offers a space to explore a variety of ways to pray, whether through silence, words, movement, or stillness. Together, we seek a deeper, conscious connection with the Sacred—something greater than ourselves.
No experience necessary. Just come with an open heart.

Beneath layers of history, poverty, and now soaring HIV infections, three Americans redefine traditional Southern values to create their own solutions to survive. Josh, a college student, seeks the support of an underground gay family miles away from his suffocating Mississippi Delta hometown. With no funds and few resources, Monica tries tirelessly to unite reluctant participants at her annual HIV retreat in rural Louisiana. Kathie, an Alabama activist, spends 120 days a year on the road fighting a bureaucracy that continues to ignore the South.

What is it to be an Immigrant Welcoming Church?
Special guest Rev Noel Anderson - to share alongside some of our own IUCC members about what it means to be an Immigrant Welcoming Church.
The United Church of Christ General Synod officially voted to designate itself an "Immigrant Welcoming Church" at its 31st General Synod in 2017. This resolution encouraged all congregations to advocate for migrant rights and, where possible, become Immigrant-Welcoming congregations. This Sunday we will hear about IUCC's history as well as the personal stories of what it's like to be part of an immigrant family.

Sunday Worship
Celebrating the mothers and mothering figures of our lives.
Whoever you are, wherever you are on your faith journey, you are WELCOME here!
We offer two Sunday services: a Traditional Service at 9:30 a.m. and a Contemporary Service at 11:15 a.m. Adult Sunday School is offered during the 11:15 a.m. service. The traditional service features our amazing Chancel Choir singing wonderful anthems tied to the morning’s theme. The contemporary service is more casual, led by an energetic praise group composed of our choral interns. We welcome you to come as you are and dress according to your personal style.
Sunday services typically include: information about church events, music, prayer, meditation, and a message from the pastor. We celebrate communion on the first Sunday of each month, and everyone is welcome to partake. Our services are also streamed live on Facebook.
YA BYOB Book Club - Bring Your Own Book
Calling all young adults ~ Each young adult should bring their own book, audiobook, or podcast and we will silently read together for an hour. Then, we will spend time together sharing what our books are about what we've learned!
Weekly English Conversation ESL Class
ESL (English as a Second Language) Conversation classes at Irvine UCC from IUCC’s DEI Committee
Every Wednesday morning from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Free!
We are offering weekly classes where English learners can improve their English skills by having real-life conversations in a caring and supportive environment. We hope that these English conversation classes will help all neighbors overcome language and cultural barriers and empower everyone to live out their lives with greater confidence and success. At the same time, the IUCC community will be enriched and strengthened as we show God’s love for our neighbors in practical ways. These classes will serve as an opportunity to learn about each other’s cultures, connect with each other and form meaningful relationships.
We need the help of IUCC members to spread the word out about these classes to the community. Please forward the above flyer to your friends, neighbors, and others in your social network.
Anyone who’s interested in coming to the FREE class can sign up online using the QR code or click here to sign up. To access the flyer in your preferred language, click here: English, Chinese,
