YOUTGROUPS

Junior Youth Group

Our Jr. Youth Group is designed for middle schoolers, offering a fun and supportive space to build friendships and grow in confidence. Through engaging activities, meaningful conversations, service opportunities, and special events, younger youth are encouraged to navigate these formative years with curiosity and compassion. Older youth frequently join in as mentors and role models, helping foster connection at all ages.

Youth Group

Our older Youth Group is a warm, welcoming group for older teens where faith, connection, and acceptance thrive. Much like our Jr. Youth Group, we offer a blend of meaningful conversations, events, and service opportunities to help our youth explore their spirituality and build lasting connections in an affirming environment where we celebrate diversity and support each individual’s unique journey of self-discovery and exploration.

CONFIRMATION

AT IUCC

Discover and Affirm the Faith Journey

In our confirmation class, 14+ year olds embark on a transformative journey to deepen their faith and claim their beliefs as their own. Through meaningful discussions, engaging activities, and guided exploration, they discover and affirm the values and traditions that shape their spiritual identity.

Connect, Question,
and Grow

Our confirmation program provides a safe and supportive space for young individuals to ask questions, engage in critical thinking, and grow in their understanding of Christianity and its relevance in their lives and others. It's a time to connect with peers, mentors, and the broader faith community, fostering a sense of belonging and purpose.

Empowerment for Life's Adventure

By offering confirmation, we aim to equip young people with the knowledge, values, and skills to navigate life's complexities with courage and compassion. It's not just a rite of passage, but an empowering experience that lays a foundation for a lifetime of spiritual growth and ethical decision-making.
