The Christians - Presented by The Wayward Artist Theater
The Christians – A Powerful Season Finale by The Wayward Artist
What happens when faith is tested, beliefs are challenged, and a congregation is forced to choose?
In Lucas Hnath’s gripping drama The Christians, a megachurch pastor delivers a shocking sermon that shakes his church to its core. As tensions rise and loyalties are questioned, this remarkable play explores belief, doubt, and the cost of conviction.
A story that speaks to both conservative and progressive Christians, The Christians invites us to wrestle with deep divides in faith and the search for common ground. Who says red and blue can’t come together?
Join the conversation! Each performance will be followed by a live talkback with the cast and creative team.
The IUCC Chancel Choir will perform on Opening Night (Nov. 14) and Saturday, Nov. 15.
IUCC members receive $10 off by using code IUCC at checkout.
November 14–23, 2025 – Directed by Pastor Craig Tyrl with an extraordinary cast.
