What’s a Comma Group?

Comma Groups are designed to be friendly, conversational, personal, and spiritual. Most importantly, they give us the chance to slow down, share what is happening in our lives, and truly get to know one another.

  • 8–10 people in each group

  • Gather once a month for a shared meal

  • Enjoy meaningful conversation and discussion

  • Explore a shared topic or book

  • Build friendships and deeper connections

  • Grow together personally and spiritually

There is something special about gathering around a table, sharing a meal, talking about things that matter, and getting to know one another beyond a Sunday morning hello. For more than 15 years, Comma Groups have helped people at IUCC build deeper relationships and find a more intimate sense of community within our larger congregation. They are also a wonderful way for newer members and visitors to make meaningful connections.
