Parent Meeting for Our Whole Lives Series -
In order for your 7th-12th grade student to be an OWL participant you must attend a parents & guardians meeting and sign a permission slip. This meeting will take place October 3rd from 9:30am - 11:30am in person at IUCC.

The OWL program is a comprehensive and inclusive sexuality education curriculum that offers factual information and opportunities for teens to explore the attitudes, values, emotions, and experiences they have about themselves and their world. We’re joining with other UCC churches to host a course for 7th-12th graders.
The Goal - To connect faith with identity, relationships, and sexuality issues in ways that lead to informed and reasoned decisions and then empower youth to act responsibility as they seek to unite body and spirit, as well as spirituality and sexuality, in a quest to celebrate their wholeness as human beings created by the Divine. It is centered on promoting empathy, compassion, respect, justice, and equity.
The OWL program has been created and produced by the United Church of Christ and Unitarian Universalist Association for more than twenty-five years. developmentally appropriate, comprehensive, and inclusive sexuality education are available: for Grades K-1, Grades 4-6, Grades 7-9, Grades 10-12, Young Adults, Adults, and Older Adults. This camp specifically focuses on the 7th-12th grade groups!

Teaming up with other UCC churches, there will be two weekend intensives held at Pilgrim Pines Camp in Yucaipa. It is normally a year long program, but has been condensed and organized as such to balance the opportunity across many schedules.
