What can art do in a moment like this?
This fall, IUCC and The Wayward Artist invite you to Arts for Activism, a six-week creative workshop led by artist, educator, and activist Angelica Rowell. (Flyer)
Together, we’ll explore some of the most urgent issues of our time, including racism, immigration, sexism, queer rights, global injustice, environmental racism, and more, through music, poetry, theatre, dance, film, conversation, and creative practice.
All are invited - all you need is curiosity, compassion, and a willingness to explore - no artistic background is required! Over the six weeks, Angelica will help each participant develop an original creative response, culminating in a public community showcase as part of The Gospel Project on November 21.
