Looking to figure out those Propositions on the ballot?
The IUCC Advocates for Peace & Justice is hosting a discussion on the Statewide Propositions and the Irvine City Proposition on Ranked Choice Voting.
We will gather on Sunday, October 11th, at 12:25 PM in the Peace room.
Keith Boyum, Professor of Political Science Emeritus, will lead the discussion, which will also feature Dr. David Smith, Professor of Sociology at UCI and co-chair of the Advocates; and Felicity Figueroa, everyone’s favorite community activist.
The event is free and open to the community. The Advocates have been doing this review for every election since 1998. It always draws a crowd. If you want a chair and a handout, don't be late!
