🦋Women’s Retreat at Pilgrim Pines: Fully Alive! 🌲✨
St. Irenaeus wrote, “The glory of God is a human being fully alive.” In challenging times, how do we reclaim joy and live more fully? How do we tend to our own souls so that we can continue the work of peace and justice in the world?
This year’s IUCC Women’s Retreat, facilitated by Rev. Kate Forer, will explore these questions together. Using the book Fully Alive: Tending to the Soul in Turbulent Times by Elizabeth Oldfield as our guide, we will spend a meaningful weekend at Pilgrim Pines sharing wisdom, reflection, and community.
We will gather at camp for dinner on Friday evening, May 1, followed by a full day of activities on Saturday, May 2. The day will include time in nature, jewelry-making, a workshop on managing stress, and relaxing yoga. The retreat will conclude with vespers, and we will depart camp by 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
The cost is $100, which includes four meals.
Registration opens March 29 (Palm Sunday) on the patio and online.
All women are welcome!
