IUCC's very own Luna Moore Latorre has released her own book, Chrysalis, a collection of poems. Join us for a Q&A and book signing with Luna!
Chrysalis is about the relationship between the changes in the natural world and those of the author's inner world. The poet explores three major themes: the difficulties she faced with letting go of her past, her relationship to loneliness and solitude, and her observances in Nature that help her accept the necessity & inevitability of change as it relates to personal growth. These poems span various geographic locations (Portland, Los Angeles/Orange County, Miami, and more), different periods of her life, and opposing emotional states. Her poetry reflects the dual nature of life rather than only being focused on one side of the emotional spectrum.
