Advocates for Peace and Justice Colloquium

Join us for a review of the just-ended term of the US Supreme Court lead by Dr. Ronald Steiner, Professor of Political Science at Chapman University and joined by Dr. Keith Boyum, Professor Emeritus of Political Science at California State University Fullerton, vindicating congressional tariff authority and (barely) birthright citizenship as well.

  • Killing the Voting Rights Act of 1965 while blessing racially motivated deportations

  • Liquidating the indpenedence of specialized Federal agencies along with post-Watergate limits on political spending.

  • Finding state anti-transsexual statutes constitutional

  • Permitting states to count late-arriving mail ballots

Meet: 12:30pm, July 12 Sunday at Irvine UCC at 4915 Alton Parkway in Irvine. We will gather in the Peace Room, which is conveniently accessible from the IUCC parking lot. The event is free and open to the public
