Details:
IUCC women are invited to a private tour of the historic Hortense Miller home and garden in Boat Canyon, Laguna Beach, led by docent Debra Banwell, on Saturday, August 27. The Hortense Miller garden was established in 1959 and covers 1.5 acres in upper Boat Canyon. The garden includes a wide range of plants that can be grown in Southern California coastal areas and inspires visitors with its natural beauty.
The tour will begin sharply at 9:45 a.m. at the garden and will last approximately two hours.
A donation of $10 to $15 is suggested. Afterwards, join the sisterhood for an optional lunch on your own at Erth Café (formerly The Cottage) at 308 North Coast Highway, across from the Laguna Art Museum.
Parking is limited at the garden, so carpooling is advised.
The maximum group size is 10, but we will keep a waiting list and investigate getting another
docent if possible. Sign up before August 15. Your reservation will be promptly confirmed or placed
on a waiting list.
