AIDS Walk 2020 now through May 30, virtually

The 2020 OC AIDS Walk is going virtual!

We will still have our IUCC Walk the Walkers Team, and potential “walkers” can sign up just like they have in the past.

“From April 1st through May 30, we will walk, jog and salsa dance in our own living rooms to help raise funds to end the HIV epidemic and meet the needs of vulnerable members of our community during these challenging times,” wrote Felicity Figueroa, IUCC AWOC team captain, to previous walkers.

Share photos and videos of you walking, running up stairs, working out or otherwise supporting the spirit of the Walk from the comfort of your own home!

Donations can be made directly to the IUCC Team through the AIDS Walk website. Here is the link both to join the team and to donate:

All proceeds from the Walk benefit the individuals and their families impacted by HIV/AIDS in Orange County. Money raised will support critically important programs including food pantry, transportation, housing, emergency financial assistance, mental health counseling, kids & family programs, support groups, and HIV education & prevention services. “Let’s make IUCC Walk the Walkers the Number One faith-based team once again. Here’s the link to sign up for Team IUCC: Just register, send out emails to everyone you know and start bringing in the bucks for this very worthwhile cause. Invite your friends and family to “walk”, too; the more, the merrier…and they don’t even have to leave home!”
