SARAH FISKE-PHILLIPS

Sarah grew up in Redlands, and attended Redlands United Church of Christ for most of her life. She was active in the youth group, bell choir, and church mission trips to Mexico and New Orleans.
She now attends Chapman University, a UCC-affiliated school, where she is active in Students for Peaceful Empowerment, Action, & Knowledge (SPEAK) and the Disciples on Campus. She is double majoring in Peace Studies and Political Science and will graduate in May of 2012. Sarah is passionate about travel and service. She completed an internship in the summer of 2006 in Costa Rica, working for the rights of the indigenous. She also spent five months in the fall of 2010 going to school, volunteering, and living in Hyderabad, India.
In addition to Costa Rica and India she has been to 44 states and other countries including Nepal and Italy. She is excited to work with the youth of IUCC |
