Irvine United Congregational Church is a dynamic, growing faith community. That community needs your help this year to reach our stewardship goal of $415,000.
What can you do?
· You can enhance your financial commitment, even modestly. Imagine an increase of fifty cents per day – about $15 per month. If every member could offer a modest increase like that, we could build and improve the programs described below.
· Will you join others in your faith community with a strengthened pledge for 2012?
If those who name IUCC as their church home give generously, our signature programs can strengthen in proportion to our growing numbers.
§ We can sustain, and grow, programs for music and adult education, the Stephen Ministry and our many fellowship opportunities.
§ We can support Pastor Paul’s vision, including his leadership in worship with thought - provoking sermons. And we can support Pastor Elizabeth’s ministry talents and initiatives, including programs for youth, young adults and young families, and our 5 p.m. worship, Bread for the Journey.
And, if those who name IUCC as their church home give generously, we can make bold plans for filling our life journeys with real significance. IUCC plans to launch, and/or to grow programs like these:

o Comma Groups, for strengthening our own community through small groups |
o Stephen Ministry, for providing personal support to members & friends in need |

o Friendly Visitors, to engage members and friends who may have mobility or other challenges |
o Becoming a Global Mission congregation, as a means for compassionate outreach to the wider world |

o Family Promise, to sustain intact families in need of shelter |
o World-class speakers, headlined by theologians Borg and Crossan in February |

Dear Member and Friends,
We are pleased to provide you with the convenience of conducting your church financial transactions via credit card, however, this service does require that IUCC pay fees on each transaction. Should you choose to use this service, we kindly request that you include our suggested convenience fee in your total charge, as this fee is not automatically added to the transaction.
EXAMPLE: If you wish to donate $100.00, please type in $102.50 to include the convenience fee.
The convenience fees are as follow:
For transactions $1 - $100 add $2.50 to your total.
For transactions $101 - $200 add $5.00 to your total.
For transactions $201 - $300 add $7.50 to your total.
For transactions with totals above $300 add $10.00 to your total.
